Springtime at Borgo Laudato Si’: The Sunday Openings of the Gardens of the Papal Villas of Castel Gandolfo

Starting from March 23, 2025, Borgo Laudato Si’ will be open to the public on Sundays, in addition to all other days of the week.

At the Gardens of the Papal Villas of Castel Gandolfo, visitors, pilgrims, families, and groups will have the chance to discover a hidden treasure of priceless beauty in a unique and immersive experience based on the principles of the Laudato Si’ Encyclical: the extraordinary botanical heritage and the magnificent archaeological remains of the Villa of Domitian, dating back to the first century AD.

Visitors will be able to explore Borgo Laudato Si’ through personalized routes, guided by specialized experts, with the option of using sustainable transport options such as golf carts and minibuses. Each stop along the route will offer an opportunity for reflection and in-depth discussion on the themes of Ecology, Sustainable Development, and the Circular Economy, in perfect harmony with Pope Francis’s message.

Borgo Laudato Si’ is a Jubilee stop for pilgrims of Hope 2025.
